Responsibilities of Sayed Tanzid: 

Mr. Tanzid provided structural design service of a new kitchen building for United Airlines at Newark Airport that consists of 3 four-story buildings and one two-story loading dock. Created ETABS models of buildings to perform lateral analysis of the structures. Created and modified 3D models in RAM Structural System to design steel gravity framing members for all structures. Calculated loading information for high wind region using ASCE 7-10 and IBC. Designed steel braced frames and concrete shear walls to resist lateral forces for buildings using ETABS. Designed composite deck flooring that reduced the steel weight by 25%. Prepared the floor plans, calculation package, progress reports, necessary connection details, and drafted the Revit BIM model.

10-64 Jackson Avenue, Long Island City, NY - 8 story flat plate concrete residential building (08/20-01/21)

 Mr. Tanzid had e stablished the full ETABS model for an 8-story flat plate concrete residential building to analyze and design concrete shear walls, columns, and beams using seismic and wind load combinations per ASCE 7-10 and ACI 318. Reviewed concrete flat slab design conducted on SAFE by others to perform QA/QC procedure. Drafted full set of structural drawings including plans, sections & details in AutoCAD.
