  Sayed Tanzid provided the complete structural design for a 3-Story (100,000 SF per floor) DSNY Garage Building as well as adjacent vehicular ramp. Using ETABS, RISA, SAFE and other design software, he designed the gravity and lateral framing members, composite floor slabs, façade connection details, precast concrete to building structure connection details and other miscellaneous connection details. He was the Project Structural Engineer who coordinated everyday design updates with other discipline to bring the project to 100% completion.

Developed full ETABS model for 2-story concrete framed warehouse with combined reinforced concrete and CMU shear walls. Designed shear wall elevator core, reinforced CMU perimeter wall, and spread footings using ETABS and excel sheets.  Mr. Tanzid had e stablished the full ETABS model for an 8-story flat plate concrete residential building to analyze and design concrete shear walls, columns, and beams using seismic and wind load combinations per ASCE 7-10 and ACI 318. Reviewed concrete flat slab design conducted on SAFE by others to perform QA/QC procedure. Drafted full set of structural drawings including plans, sections & details in AutoCAD. Over the years, most of the framings, foundation walls, columns of the building got deteriorated.
